1. Must be a forensics coach with 5 years of service.
2. Places a strong emphasis on community.
3. Encourages learning over competition.
4. Spirit of optimism
5. Generosity both in and out of the speech world.
6. The consummate teacher: learning, love, respect for the child.
7. Understanding, appreciation and respect for diversity
8. A strong knowledge and understanding of the activity
9. Nominator must be a student and complete the form with a Statement of Support and 2 further Statements of Support - one from a teacher amd one from another student. The nominee's SUMMARY resume or career highlights must also be submitted
